My mother, June Cheatham, worked with "Mrs. Boyd," for many years at The Methodist Home. They had a very congenial and respectful relationship through the years and I always enjoyed seeing Mrs. Boyd out and about with her sister in Orangeburg. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve this special lady who brought loving care to so many .... and a wonderful gift of friendship and professional association to my mother. Nurse Boyd provided very compassionate care to all us who attended Carlisle Military School during her years there. Condolences to her family and may she rest in peace.

All of us Carlisle men remember Betty Boyd, RN. She was the angel in white we would see in the infirmary. What a kind and wonderful person. I remember her fondly, and know she is at peace.
