Annette Woodward Pinson, Bamberg, SC

Annette Woodward Pinson, 89, of Bamberg, SC widow of Arthur R. Pinson, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2017 at Providence Hospital after a brief illness.  Her Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 24, at Bamberg First Baptist Church, Bamberg at 3:00pm with the Rev. Charlie Lucas officiating.  Visitation will be at the church from 2:00pm until the time of service with burial following at Bamberg County Memory Gardens.

Annette was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She especially loved her church, serving in many capacities and roles for 64 years. She was active in numerous civic clubs and community organizations. She volunteered at the Bamberg Nursing Center until she was 87. Annette particularly enjoyed playing bridge and participating in and watching sports. However, her greatest joy was in helping people and being a faithful and giving friend.

Annette is survived by daughters Connie Boch (Bob) of Camden, Maine; and Becky Murray (James) of Snellville, Georgia, and son Ricky Pinson (Barb) of Bamberg, South Carolina; grandchildren Rebecca Brown (Tim) of Darien, Connecticut, Emily Love (Jon) of Atlanta, Georgia, Sarah Pinson of Charleston, South Carolina, Blake McMenomy (Patrick) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Rick Murray of Atlanta, Georgia and five great grandchildren, Henry, George, and Arthur Brown, and Sam and Ellie Love.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bamberg First Baptist Church, PO Box 355 Bamberg, SC 29003.
