Ms. Carolyn Folk Kirkland, 73, of Bamberg, SC passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Funeral services for Carolyn Folk Kirkland of Bamberg, SC will be held 3:00pm Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Colston Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Shawn Hanks officiating. Burial will be in Ehrhardt Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm-3:00pm, one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Kirkland was born May 5, 1943 in Bamberg, SC to the late Hammie Oscar Folk and the late Ida Mae Bishop Folk. She could cook anything. She loved her church, family, friends and above all God.

She is survived by one son Dwayne Kirkland, one daughter Stacie Kirkland (Ronnie) Deese, grandchildren Kaitlyn Kirkland, Shaye Kirkland, Lane Walling, Houston Kirkland, Dillon (Alyssa) Smith, Harley Nix, Skye Nix, one great grandchild Easton Walker. Step children Lisa Hiott (Duane) Steedly, Gene Hiott, Dianne Taylor, BoBo Hiott, Allen (Erica) Hiott, C.M. (Suzanne) Hiott, a number of step grands and great grands, one sister Merle Hindman, one brother Frank Folk. She was predeceased by her husband Milton "Goat" Hiott, one sister Shirley Myers, four brothers Perzie Folk, Herman Folk, Laverne Folk, Jim Folk.
