Cecil Harris "Sonny" Bunch Bamberg, SC

Mr. Cecil Harris (Sonny) Bunch, 77 of Bamberg, SC passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

Funeral services for Mr. Sonny will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at Bamberg First Baptist Church 11823 Heritage Highway Bamberg, SC 29003 with Rev. Ken Sandifer, Rev. Alvin Jeffcoat, and Rev. Charlie Lucas officiating. Burial will follow at Bamberg County Memory Gardens with Masonic Rites. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.

He was born in Bamberg, SC on October 16, 1941 to the late Clifton Thomas Bunch and the late Earnell Hair Bunch. He was married to the love of his life Mrs. Carol Ann Collins Bunch for 48 years.

He was a member of Bamberg First Baptist Church and a founding member of Open Door Baptist Church. He loved to go shrimping and fishing, and work on his 1950 Ford. He was a member of Ornan Lodge #38 for over 40 years. He was the owner and operator of Bunch Upholstery for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Bunch, two daughters Michelle Bunch, Celia Bunch Jennings, four grandchildren Christopher Maxwell, Kayla Cope, Weston Gill and Joshua Jennings, five great grandchildren, sister JoAnn (Millard) Bessinger, sister in law Mendell Bunch and two special nephews Timmy Bunch and Bruce Bessinger. He was predeceased by brother Tommy Bunch and a special niece Charm Bunch Whetsell.
