Flemming W. Collins, Jr. 67, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home in Bamberg, husband of Marie Collins and a son of the late Flemming W. Collins, Sr. and Frances Hunter Collins.

Mr. Flemming was retired from the Savannah River Site and a member of Olar Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and had a large sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Collins, two sons, Flemming W. Collins, III (Terri) and Ben Collins (Katherine), two daughters, Stephanie Mahuron (David) and Jessica Bernascone. Additional survivors are ten grandchildren, Samuel Collins, Andrew Collins, Aubry Collins, Rachel Collins, Taylor Collins, Chloe Mahuron, Parker Mahuron, Tristan Bernascone, Ava Bernascone, Gabriel Bernascone, Olivia Bridges and two great grandchildren, Hadley Collins and Haizley Maddison; a sister Janice Grubbs (Riley), two brothers, Bob Collins (Gwen ) and Chris Collins, three brother-in-laws,  Cliff Johnstone, Jason Truett (Becky) and Harry Lee Truett; and his extended family sister-in-law  Lynn Crosby, Libby Truett and a special niece Dianna Crosby and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by two sisters Mary(Sandy) Vojtech, and Sue Johnston.

Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Cooner Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at South End Cemetery in Bamberg, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service.
