Geraldine V. "Gerry" Thompson, 73 died on April 22,2023 in Summerville wife of the late J. Larry Thompson.  She was a daughter of the late Clyde Varn and Iretta Thomas.

Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Bamberg where she taught Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by her Cousin, Betty Creech, sister-in-law Delaine (Steve) Haddock, and two brother-in-laws, Wayne (Marlene) Thompson and Tony (Brenda) Thomson.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Cooner Funeral Home Chapel, 287 McGee Street with the Rev. John Moore officiating.  Interment will follow in the South End Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning  from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
