John Curtis Russell Jr. 84, died December 12th, 2025 after an extended illness.  He was the son of the late John Curtis Russell, Sr and Annie Myrline Crider Russell.

Mr. Russell was retired from the Army National Guard after 33 years of service, a Real Estate Broker and a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Beth L. Russell and a step-son, Brian Anderson and wife, Lauren; a Daughter, Sheri Scavone and husband, Robbie; Grandchildren, Corey Davis and Bradley Davis, Sisters, Johnnie Frye and husband, Jerry; Patricia Fair; Deborah Morris and husband, Stanley; Nephews, Eddie Fair and wife, Polly; Chris Fair and wife, Julie; Ryan Morris and wife, Renee; Ken Frye and  wife Deborah; Kevin Morris and numerous great grands and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Spring Branch Baptist Church, Bamberg, SC with the Rev. Troy Peterson and Rev. Kenny Sandifer officiating.  Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Spring Branch Baptist Church
