Heaven gained a precious Angel.  Ms. Johnnie Belle Jones, 96, of Hilda, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025.  She was a former resident of Bamberg, South Carolina.  She was born on March 13, 1929, to the late Ellen Grooms Hill and Giffie Jones of Bamberg.

Ms. Johnnie Belle was kind and loving to everyone she met.  She loved the Lord and attended Bamberg Church of God.

She often spoke of her childhood in St. George, SC, with her beloved Mother, Ellen, her stepfather, M.B. Hill, and her brothers, David James "DJ" Jones (deceased) and Herman "Bubba" Jones (Deceased).

She loved her children with all of her heart and always put them first.  She made sure they were well taken care of.  It brought great Joy to her heart spending time with her 11 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.  She always made sure she gave everyone a gift at Christmas and each Birthday.

Ms. Johnnie Belle loved our big family Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.  Also her Birthdays were celebrated with family and friends.

She loved her children's friends and always treated them like they were her own.  She loved visiting here family, going to ball games, going fishing and her soap operas.

Ms. Johnnie Belle was a very special lady whom here children loved dearly.

We will miss you Mama, but we'lll be with you again with Jesus.

Ms. Johnnie Belle is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Dyches, Louise (Don) Parker, and Linda (Jimmie) Still and her son Steve (Marcel) Jones.  Ms. Johnnie Belle  was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Katherine Jones Rudd Fisk, two sisters, Carolyn Jones Blume and Marie Jones Squires and a brother Frank Jones.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the Cooner Funeral Home Chapel, 287 McGee Street, Bamberg, SC with Pastor June Still officiating.  Interment will follow at South End Cemetery in Bamberg, SC 29003.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cooner Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
