Joseph "Jody" Stull Smith

Joseph Stull Smith, 70 of Walterboro, South Carolina, husband of Teressa Smith passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026.

Born on June 15, 1956, in Walterboro, SC Jody was a son of the late Shirley Corbitt Smith and Marvin Smith.

Jody was a retired superintendent with Fluor Enterprises with over twenty years of service. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Some of his most treasured memories were made at Smoaks Hunting Club. Jody will be remembered as a hardworking, simple man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Jody is preceded in death by his parents; brother Randy L. Smith; sisters Mary Alice Murray and Sylvia Harrell.Jody is survived by his wife Teressa; daughters Shelisa Fowler (Jared) and Heather Prevatte (Gene); sons Bubba Smith (Nikki) and Coy Smith (Kendall); sisters Marviette Hogan and Sheryl Bunch (Rock); grandchildren Jeff, Matthew, Nicholas, Joe, Cody, Shylah, Carter, and Leevi; great grandchildren Jeffery, Killian, Rowan, Thaddeus, Addison, and Lincoln. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 11-12PM at Edisto Baptist Church, 4831 Edisto River Rd., Branchville, SC. A service will follow at 12PM, with burial in the church cemetery.
