Kevin Thomas Gray, 39, entered Heavenly rest on October 27,2024, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.  Kevin was born October 26, 1985, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Kevin loved watching his favorite college football team, Florida State. He was known for his patience, quietness, and loved being with family.

Kevin was a son of Hughie Gray Sr. and Victoria (Eddie) Folk.As a kid, Kevin loved to be outside playing ball of any kind, watching ninja turtles, and climbing trees. Kevin had a knack for getting into mischief, taking his punishment, and doing it again.He is survived by his aunt Nancy Crider (predeceased) and Becky Hunt (Wesley), sister Tori Bunch and brother HughieGray Jr. (Michelle) Gray. Additional survivors are five nieces, Andalyn Kirkland-Gray, Khloe Goolsby, Khenzlee Goolsby, Annalee Goolsby and Malia Gray; three nephews Maddox Gray, Jax Gray, and Connor Wisher; cousins Neal (Emily) Crider and Amanda (Charles) Nesbitt.

A memorial service will be held at Cooner's Funeral Home on October 30, 2024, at 7:00 PM. Friend's and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Kevin's life. Neal Crider, Ted McAlhany Jr, Michael Roberson, and John Byrd will be honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Association.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the medical professionals at the Hollings Cancer Clinic (Orangeburg) andthe Trident Medical Center intensive care unit and emergency care unit (Charleston) for their kindness, support and skills.

Kevin's kindness and generosity will be deeply missed by all who know him.
