Malloy C. Kilgus 79 from Bamberg entered into her eternal rest surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

The Celebration of her life will be held at Bamberg First Baptist Church 3:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019, 11823 Heritage Highway Bamberg, SC 29003 with Rev. Andy Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Bamberg County Memory Gardens.

The family asks that you wear bright colors to help us celebrate her new life in Heaven, though she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Malloy was the only child of the late R. W. and Elizabeth Craddock born on August 3, 1939 in Bamberg County.

Malloy managed Bamberg County vital records for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). Before her health failed, she loved her church and community, investing countless hours in support of the American Red Cross, the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, and the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Band Booster Club. As she became housebound she loved classic TV shows like the Waltons, the Golden Girls, and the Andy Griffith Show. She had a great love of foods especially anything chocolate! She was married to William F. Kilgus, Jr. and gave birth to one daughter, Michelle Kentopp who married Timothy Kentopp, who resides in St. Croix (US Virgin Islands). She is also survived by two grandsons, Benjamin who is married to Clarissa Kentopp, and Zachary Kentopp who is engaged to Kristen Carr all of Summerville, SC. Malloy enjoyed living with her grandchildren the last two years. The family would like to thank Clarissa Kentopp and Intrepid Hospice for their dedication and exceptional care of Nana.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Cooner Funeral Home, LLC.
