Mendell Proveaux Bunch, 86, died August 1, 2024.  Mrs. Bunch was a daughter of the late Harmon Proveaux and Edna Barrs Proveaux.

She was a member of Bamberg First Baptist Church and was retired from the Bamberg County Health Department.  She enjoyed playing the Piano, riding Bikes and traveling to the Mountains.

Mrs. Bunch is survived by a son; Timmy Bunch, and a special friend Dot Stone;  a sister, Jeanette McDonald.  Additional survivors are one grandson, Drake Whetsell, grand daughter, Melody Barrs; three great-grandchildren, and one great great grand daughter, and  two sister-in-laws, Carol  Ann Bunch and JoAnn Bessinger (Millard), a son-in-law James Whetsell several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charm Bunch Whetsell a brother Malcolm Jerry Proveaux, and a brother-in-law Sonny Bunch.

Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Bamberg Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
