Michael Connor Rhoad, 63, died July 15. 2024 at the Trident Medical Center.  Mr. Connor was a son of the late Joe Henry and Emma Delle Rhoad.

Mr. Rhoad was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and was a former employee of Phoenix in Bamberg. He served as  Medic with the SC National Guard 251 Medical Company.

He is survived by two sisters, Marilyn B Higgins (George), Lori R. Bowen (Dan); two brothers, Joe Henry Rhoad, Jr and James C Rhoad.  Additional survivors are one niece Keri Hoard (Adam) and three nephews, Col Jeffrey C Higgins (Holly), LTC Steven C Higgins (Miranda) and Charles J. Bowen.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Edisto Mennonite Church (Formerly Zion United Methodist) with the Rev. Jakie Walters officiating,  Interment will follow in the Zion Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
