Myrtice Jones Webb of Barnwell, SC entered into eternal rest onDecember 26, 2025. Myrtice was born June 19th, 1957 to the late Calvin and Eva Boyd Jones in Bamberg, SC.

She leaves behind two daughters Rachell (Reese) (Nathaniel) Wingard of Columbia and Dylan Rae Pound of Lexington; four grandsons Rhys Wingard, Ayden Switzer, Perrin and Arkin Pound; a brother Charles (Betty) Grooms of Florence and a sister Elaine Dyches of Barnwell. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents Calvin and Eva Boyd Jones, three brothers H.M Grooms, James Grooms and Bing Jones; a sister Doris Ann Carroll and two very special nephews Eric Grooms and Dennis Grooms.

Myrtice enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, watching T.V. and animals. She had a 20-year career with Eastman KodakCompany.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday January 10th at Cooner Funeral Home 287 McGee Street, Bamberg, SC with Rev. Doug Carroll officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Make a Wish South Carolina 225 S Pleasantburg Dr Suit C 17, Greenville , South Carolina 29607, Wish.org.
