Nancy T. Beard, 81, of Bamberg, SC, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. Nancy was born and raised in Bamberg, SC to Berley and Ethel Taylor. Known for her feisty personality balanced with a kind and giving spirit, Nancy brought joy and warmth to those around her. She had a spark that made her unforgettable; she was never afraid to speak her mind, and her spirited nature endeared her to friends and family alike. She was married to her beloved husband, Henry "Sonny" Beard, for 53 years until his passing in 2018. Her greatest joy, by far, was her family.

Nancy is survived by her children, Rob (Wendy) Beard of Myrtle Beach, SC; Sandy Whitlock (married to Mike Parnell) of Eutawville, SC; and Bridgett (TIm) DuFresne of Branchville, SC. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Terry Beard, Matt Beard, Wyatt Whitlock, Jared Beard, and Jonah Beard. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Ann) Taylor of Hartsville, SC, and her caregiver and "bestie", Toni Pinak, whom she dearly loved.

Visitation will be held at Cooner Funeral Home Sunday, November 3,2024 from 2:00 -3:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. Burial will take place at South End Cemetery immediately following the ceremony.
