Robert B. "Bob" Reeves

Robert B. "Bob" Reeves, 84 of Bamberg, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026. 

Born on December 2, 1941 in Allendale, SC Bob was a son of the late Virgie Keaton Reeves and Carroll Reeves. 

Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter who found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the family's hunting place and at the beach. He retired from the Jacksonville Port Authority after many years of dedicated service. Bob was a man of strong faith whose love for family, the outdoors, and the simple pleasures of life will be deeply remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Davis Reeves and brothers Charles Reeves and Carroll "Jr." Reeves. 

Bob is survived by his wife Gertrude "Trudie" Reeves; sons Robbie Reeves (Kellie) and Sloan Reeves (Laurin); daughter Rebecca Reeves; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a sister Virginia Ann Catalano and several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held privately at a later date.
