Lonnie Marion Padgett
Obituary
Lonnie Marion Padgett, 60, died Saturday, September 3, 2022 at his residence. He was a son of the late Lonnie Herbert Nix and Carrie Mae Padgett.
Mr. Padgett was a Truck Driver and attended the Bamberg Church of God.
He is survived by four children, Amanda Dempsey, Lonnie Padgett, Jr, Dilion Macolm Padgett, Zackery Matthew Padgett, grandchildren; Dalton Glover, Hayden Dempsey, Connor Hiott, Landon Searson, Brayden Padgett, Addison Padgett, Zayden Kearse, Aubree Dempsey, Roselynn Still, Kyleigh Johnson and McKenzie Johnson, one brother, Gregg Nix and two sisters, Deedee Meeks and Karen Proveaux. Additional survivors is his fiance Nicole Rutland and her children, Kakayla Rutland, Jason Rutland and Joseph Rutland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Padgett was preceded in death by a brother Dean Nix.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the Cooner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Proveax officiating. Interment will follow at the Bamberg Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cooner Funeral Home, 287 McGee Street, Bamberg, SC
