Tony Bledsoe Obituary

On December 1, 2023, Tony Graham Bledsoe passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 72.  Tony was born September 28, 1951 a son of the late Claude and Alma Bledsoe.  
Tony worked for BC Moore’s, Delevan and then SRNS. In 1999 he and Cheryl bought Frye’s Drive In and ran it for 18 years before he officially retired. Tony loved everyone and everyone was always welcome and he never met a stranger. Tony loved to take his family camping. Tony enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and cooking a camping breakfast for everyone.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Cheryl Frye Bledsoe; two daughters Jennifer Ott(Jody) and Kristan Jett(Josh), three granddaughters, Jessica Ott, Charleston (Charlee) Jett and Addisyn (Addi Kate) Ott and his brother Gerald Bledsoe(Maxine) and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Catherine Barton, Tina Williams, Lucille Edgemon and Claudia Bledsoe and brother Ramson Bledsoe
Visitation will be Sunday December 3 at Cooner Funeral Home Bamberg from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 4, at 2:00 pm at Spring Branch Baptist Church Bamberg with the Reverend Troy Petterson, Reverend Gerald Bledsoe and Doctor Richard Crider officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 
At other times the family will receive friends at the home, 76 Lana Lane, Bamberg
The family would like to give a special thanks to Grove Park Hospice .
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Phil Myers, Scott Brown, Dean Crider, Robert Chitty, David Summers, Alan Kovach, Michael Bledsoe and Andy Williams.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Spring Branch Baptist Church(833 Deacon Road, Bamberg, SC) or to a charity of one’s choice.
